The Roles

The Finance team touches virtually every area of our business. We’re responsible for everything from exercising financial control to analysing performance, from establishing supplier strategies to helping to make the business case for introducing new categories.

To be successful you will be able to work at pace, have excellent analytical skills and have the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. With a good degree, first time passes and a big 4 and/or blue chip background, you will be passionate about making a difference to profitability, to work colleagues and to customers.

Our Financial Accountants are responsible for all aspects of financial control, from managing our month end process and reporting MI to our internal customers and US parent operation to influencing the direction of the business through variance analysis and performance interpretation. Our Internal Auditors are independent and work with the ASDA business and worldwide Wal-Mart teams to provide effective and efficient risk management solutions locally and globally. You’ll have strong core finance competencies and the confidence and drive to develop your career at Asda.

Our Commercial Finance Managers are partners to the business, closely involved in day to day decision making as well as formulating longer term strategy. You will have the ability to see the big picture and a track record of influencing effectively at a senior level whilst exhibiting great judgement.

Salary & Benefits

Salaries within the finance team range from £30,000 - £100,000 dependent on experience.
